A 6-month-old male orphaned and rescued baby bare-nosed wombat (Vomabtus ursinus) named Landon, is bottle fed a food supplement by Emily Small, founder of Goongerah Wombat Orphanage.

This image is taken in Emilys Melbourne inner city apartment during the CoVid-19 lockdown. i.e. not at the orphanage (which is close to his home range 450kms away).

He became an orphan when his mother - which survived the recent bushfires - was sadly hit by a car.

Temporarily captive - as he will be in care until old enough to be released.
