The tides have changed for urban beavers which were once widely eliminated in city centers where they were considered pests. Some towns these days are welcoming the resident beavers and even work to improve their habitat to protect them. Sometimes these city beavers are orphaned or injured so they must recuperate before being returned to the wild - this is where local conservation groups step in to help. Suzi takes us to Martinez, California to visit a community that celebrates and protects their beavers, to Washington behind the scenes at the Sarvey Wildlife Care Center and to witness the release of a rehabilitated beaver in Sonoma County.
