Thank You Mouse (53) More files... by Heidi and Hans-Jurgen Koch
A tribute to the lab mouse.
Every day in labs around the world a countless number of mice are used as medical research subjects. They have to suffer; they have to die for us. Recently, the mouse genome was completely decoded. Mice and humans have about 80% identical genes. An anonymous mass is running through the labs; mice are our representatives.

It is time to say 'Thank You'. Therefore we want to give them a face and an identitiy. We treated them as models to point out the individuality and personality. We just want to set a monument for these little heroes. - The Kochs
