Portia Spiders (19) More files... by Dr. Mark W. Moffett
Portia spiders have developed unusual hunting tactics. Using deception, imitation and trickery these spiders prey upon their own kind. Invading another spider's web, this fierce predator mimics the vibrations of a trapped insect to fool its prey. Dr. Moffett catches the spiders at their best (or worst) as these tricksters hunt their own kind.
