Pollinators (40) More files... by Mark Moffett
With over 200,000 individual animal species in the world that hold the title of 'pollinator' Mark Moffett had a wealth of subjects for his story which was published in the March 2011 National Geographic Magazine. From buzzing European Honeybees to unexpected lemurs and geckos he photographed these workers in the process of spreading pollen which is crucial to the world's plant, and crop, diversity. Birds, butterflies, moths and ants are featured with their fellow pollinators in this collection of forty images.
