In Borneo's Bako National Park troops of Long-tailed Macaques thrive in the mangrove forests. Their excellent hunting skills yield dinners of crab, fruit, frog eggs and even small insects found beneath tree bark and among the mud flats at low tide. Anup Shah and Fiona Rogers bring us a selection of photos showing these primates in their various social situations. Mothers carry young on their bellies, juveniles play in shallow water and groups bond through mutual grooming.
