Dolphins in Crisis (153) More files... by Flip Nicklin
Voyagers in the blue universe, dolphins touch something deeply inside us humans like few other animals. More than 40 species of dolphins and porpoises exist in the world's oceans and rivers but several species are dwindling as a consequence of overfishing, accidental capture, pollution and habitat loss. Flip Nicklin spent two years taking a global look at dolphins, the dangers they face, and the people working to save them. This coverage illustrates the tremendous diversity within this group and the degree to which their survival is imperiled.Text by Kenneth Norris.
